Ann Sheffield is a retired art teacher who experiments with mixed media and works in series. "I make small assemblage sculptures, and want to combine poems with visual presentation but haven’t found the right format yet. I had two unusual pieces in the recent CWA members’ juried show at NBAL, have shown in libraries, Wethersfield Art League shows, Essex Art Assoc, West Hartford Art League (prizes), New Haven Paint and Clay, and presented annually at CT Art Ed Assoc Conferences. Was member of Brickwalk Poets for a dozen years, published in literary journals, Northeast Magazine, Fiction Network, taught creative writing at U Conn and Miss Porter’s, etc.
